Ultramarathon Finished
50k Complete!
A big run goal update.
50k is now complete. I set this run goal back in 2019 when I was rapidly losing my mobility. At the time, my children witnessed my body failing. Today, they witnessed my response.
I am very proud of this run because no other bilateral hybrid prosthetic-orthotic user (Exosym/IDEO) completed a 26.2 or ultra.
I want to thank Ryan Blanck of Hanger Clinic for the Exosym. His hybrid prosthetic-orthotic changed the lives of countless individuals, including mine. I run because of his work.
Thank you to Andy Reid of Evoke Endurance for coaching me to this dream of finishing a 50k. You are elite!
Thank you to my good friend Evan Birch and his entire The Speed Project team. Running with that crew made me believe my time is now. I can’t thank you all enough for your friendship, support, and push.
