I’m not angry about my birth defects and the subsequent adversities
I am not angry or sad about all the adversities that I encountered throughout my life due to my birth defects
People expect me to be sad about my birth defects.
I am not.
People assume I am angry about doctors botching me, the stares I receive, and childhood bullying.
I am not.
People believe I wish I was born with normal looking, healthy legs.
I do not.
I made a choice to allow my adversity to become my purpose. I will transcend my physical deficits in front of you.
…And when I die, my God will receive a well-used broken body and an unbroken spirit.
