"August 31st, 2004 was the worst day of our lives --- it was the day we lost our older sister, Brianne to suicide.” Since that day the Kennedy family has worked to honor Brianne Kennedy. By sharing their stories and providing resources, they hope to end the stigma surrounding mental illness and suicide. "Our hopes are to prevent other families from ever having to go through what we did through sharing Brianne’s story.” Life is Worth Living is often speaking at schools, taking part in interviews, and fundraising to further their mission.
